If someone else’s drinking, drug use, gambling or addiction has taken a toll on your wellbeing, you deserve support too.
The Cultivating Self-Compassion programme is a gentle, trauma-informed 8-week journey designed specifically for people affected by a loved one’s addiction.
Many people who join us have spent years focused on everyone else’s needs while ignoring their own. This programme offers a safe, supportive space to begin reconnecting with yourself again, with kindness, understanding and practical tools for everyday life.
Together, we explore ways to:

This funded programme is currently available for people who:
✓ are aged 25 or over
✓ live in Essex
✓ are affected by a loved one’s alcohol use, substance misuse, gambling or addiction
If you’re unsure whether the programme is right for you, please get in touch. We’d be happy to talk things through gently and answer any questions.
There is no pressure and no judgement. You are welcome to ask questions at any stage.
Taking this step can feel vulnerable. Many people who apply tell us they are not used to prioritising themselves, and may even wonder whether they deserve support.
