Book your Post Programme Review with Daisy

I am so grateful to be trusted with your feedback to the Blossome Summer Self-care programme and I hope to do justice to your stories.  I am really excited to speak with you. Please use the calendar to book a time to speak.

Hi, my name is Daisy

I’m a recent Psychology graduate from Sussex University in Brighton. Whilst I was there I researched self-esteem and well-being, and developed a passion for accessibility within mental health services through a placement year with CAMHS where I facilitated young people’s focus groups, collected a lot of feedback, and supported a specialist service for Looked after Children.

Over this time I tried to learn how to be kinder to myself and find the things that bring me joy, but learning how to give ourselves the space to feel self-compassion and finding those tools for self-care can feel impossible. Through the communities which have welcomed me in, acceptance of the things about myself which I cannot change, and speaking up when I need help; I have learnt what self-compassion and self-care mean to me. I’ve learnt that these principles aren’t about being “good” at them, but that I deserve to have them.

My favourite forms of self-care are engaging in my hobbies like crochet, puzzles, watching horror films, and in being present with my friends. I try to be compassionate for myself but I find it quite hard sometimes, so I share these feelings with those I love to try and make sense of them.

I am so grateful to be trusted with your feedback and responses to the Blossome Summer Self-care programme and I hope to do justice to your stories.  I am really excited to speak with you all and gain insight into your thoughts and feelings about Blossome and your experiences.

Best wishes,
Daisy
