I took stewardship of Colchester Foodbank charity in mid-September 2017, I turned around a loss-making to a slight surplus. In 2018, our Foodbank won the National Charities against Fraud Award. Our supporters in 2020 have promoted Charity’s Facebook profile to the most liked foodbank in the British Isles, and the busiest Foodbank became the busiest Foodbank in Essex. In 2021 we moved to larger premises in Tollgate, Stanway and we became the busiest Foodbank in the East of England, turnover increased tenfold.Transitioned to CIO. Experienced NHS Foundation Trust Governor, overseeing a turnover of over £400 million, a project I initiated was cited as recommended good practice by the regulator, Monitor.
